Plugin Talent has been hired to find a Project Manager for an established firm who sees the growth and potential with Detroit. They have a presence with a major automotive client in which they are embedded.They provide an integrated communications connectivity platform that serves a major automotive client as a valued partner to high-performing organizations, our client’s proprietary software-as-a-service based platform drives increased customer retention, improves sales and lowers costs.
The Project Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a structure to manage the multiple priorities for the Client .
Duties and Responsibilities
• Acts as the daily client contact for assigned projects, developing relationships with clients and working closely with them to learn their business and communication needs
• Works closely with all staff to develop and implement strategic project plans
• Has a thorough understanding of the planning and production processes
• Proactively gathers the necessary information to plan and implement each client project
• Provides timely issuance of all documentation: proposals, project initiations, creative briefs, estimates, time-lines, meeting summaries, and status and budget reports
• Manages time and financial resources to ensure client projects are on time and on budget.
• Manages project schedules
• Produces client budgets and estimate updates
• Ensures project deliverables are delivered on time and on budget
• Manages internal and external resources
• Manages client project internal and external communication and documentation
• Works in a proactive manner to provide client campaigns with the greatest amount of added value through communications
• Gathers and assembles background information and analyses as needed in development of briefs, etc.
• Receives client briefings
• Analyzes client input, together with background knowledge, research, field feedback, etc., to produce full communications plans
• Keeps apprised of all relevant client, industry and market developments
• Coordinates and authorizes quotations for client approval.
• Coordinates project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel.
• Continuously works to upgrade knowledge and skills through available reading, courses and seminars
• Maintain a highly responsive service orientation in all transactions
Requirements:
• Candidates must be able to use MS Excel.
• Candidates must also exhibit a strong track record in CRM, software or Agency with proven ability to plan and organize major programs
• PMP Certification is required
• Ability to Travel to Toronto frequently
• Minimum 3-7 years experience in a project management role. Agency experience a plus.
• Must be EXTREMELY organized, detailed and accurate
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, working well under pressure juggling multiple projects and deadlines
• Responsive to both internal and client needs in a timely, professional manner
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Strong business writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, self-starter who can work as part of a team primarily and independently when needed
• Project and account foresight
• Experience or knowledge of creative and/or technical development process
• Highly skilled in building and managing project schedules and timelines
• Ability to oversee programs through project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables are met on time
• Solution oriented, problem-solving approach
• Ability to grasp complex concepts easily
• Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner, with use of good judgment

This Account Manager role is primarily responsible for supporting the client and my client’s internal creative, brand and digital teams. The Account Strategy Manager must quickly develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, industry, economic model, organizational trends and customer needs in order to respond quickly to client requests from a strategic point of view. The Manager is responsible for directing and supervising client communications, managing individual maintenance and production requests, budget tracking and reporting. This person will act as the client advocate and make them feel like they “have someone on the inside”
