Hiring Project Manager - Detroit

Plugin Talent has been hired to find a Project Manager for an established firm who sees the growth and potential with Detroit. They have a presence with a major automotive client in which they are embedded.They provide an integrated communications connectivity platform that serves a major automotive client as a valued partner to high-performing organizations, our client’s proprietary software-as-a-service based platform drives increased customer retention, improves sales and lowers costs.
The Project Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a structure to manage the multiple priorities for the Client .

Duties and Responsibilities
• Acts as the daily client contact for assigned projects, developing relationships with clients and working closely with them to learn their business and communication needs
• Works closely with all staff to develop and implement strategic project plans
• Has a thorough understanding of the planning and production processes
• Proactively gathers the necessary information to plan and implement each client project
• Provides timely issuance of all documentation: proposals, project initiations, creative briefs, estimates, time-lines, meeting summaries, and status and budget reports

Requirements:

    Required Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree
    • Demonstrated business development and team management skills: be able to prepare a case study of previous engagements
    • Strong understanding and working knowledge of creative, digital and brand marketing
    • 1-3 years of proven project leadership experience on small to medium size and moderately complex projects within an interactive agency, web, brand, or Mobile Digital environment.
    • Working knowledge of project management concepts, methodologies and tools.
    • Ability to lead well under pressure and to lead a project team to ensure deadlines and budget are met while exceeding clients’ expectations
    • Ability to effectively create project plans based on the needs of the project
    • Ability to tailor communications approach based on the situation
    • Must possess decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation
    • Communication skills with the ability to present information in verbal, written or visual form to a variety of audiences, from the internal team to client executives
    • Experience communicating directly with external clients
    • Experience managing marketing, creative or technology projects

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5+ years of marketing strategy experience (brand management or agency experience preferred)

    My client has a growing social media team! They are looking to add to this team and this person must live and breath social media and have a true passion for it as well as professional experience!  I am searching for a  Community Moderator for this team, This person will be responsible for monitoring and managing an individual’s or organization’s online presence, reporting and providing insights on the results. They will report directly to and fully support our Social Media Strategist. This is an entry level position with huge potential for someone who has a passion for digital and an analytical mind.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supporting comprehensive social media strategies for our clients’ brands and specific programs
    • Assisting Social Media Strategist in identifying specific methods to generate awareness

    • Expert in all things digital, including: blogging/microblogging, podcasting, video sharing and streaming, widgets and gadgets, viral campaign management, mobile marketing, social networking, etc.
    • Previous experience using analytical / monitoring is a super huge plus.

    Position Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in social media by having a strong personal presence
    • Attention to detail, client management skills and the ability to research and coordinate information with prompt turnaround
